Goose & Crooked Creek Community Meetings

The purpose of this event is to introduce local citizens, elected officials

and community organizations to the Goose and Crooked Creek

Local Watershed Plan and to present recommendations from the plan. 

The local watershed plan, developed by representatives from local government

and state agencies, recommends actions and identifies potential projects

designed to improve the water quality in these two watersheds.

This workshop, sponsored by Friends of the Goose and
Crooked Creek Watersheds, will allow attendees to learn about
the rules for the Goose Creek Watershed. Get a background of why
restrictions were put in place; learn about the buffer requirements
and how they impact you, and what local governments’ plans are
to improve water quality in Goose Creek.
